Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring Welding Fabrication Specialist in Costa Mesa, California.

As a Welding Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Operates Heliarc, ARC, and MIG welding machines in accordance with Fab Shop procedures and plant specifications.
Follows blueprints, production drawings, production procedures, and instructions.
Confers with various departmental representatives to verify engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
Performs hand burning and gas welding.
Repairs welds and structural welds.
Cleans shop and maintains work areas and equipment.
Operates drill press, occasionally, with instruction from supervisor.
Sets up, operates, and adjusts related production equipment as needed, including hand brake, sheet metal shears, grinder, lathe, saw cutter, and hand tools.
Regular punctuality, attendance, and absence reporting in conformance with company policies is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Fully comply with company rules, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations.

The ideal candidate will have:
Equivalent to high school graduation; considerable experience, training, education, and/or certification as a combination welder, preferably within a related manufacturing environment.

This is a Full-Time, Contract opportunity.

Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6 Am to 2:30 Pm
Location: Costa Mesa, California
Pay Rate: $25.00 to $30.00

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
