Our busy insurance law firm is ready to welcome a new attorney to our dynamic team! We seek a talented defense attorney with at least 2 years of landlord/tenant litigation experience who can represent clients with professionalism and courtesy. If you have excellent research and writing skills, can efficiently leverage modern-day technology and tools, and effectively communicate across all insurance law levels, apply today!

Responsibilities:

--- Create quality legal documents such as motions, briefs, pleadings, and correspondence for use in court proceedings
--- Appear in court on behalf of insurance clients during legal proceedings to argue motions
--- Provide mentorship to administrative staff in regards to insurance law, clients' billing, invoicing, meetings, and projects


Qualifications:

--- Must hold and maintain membership in local bar association
--- Strong public speaking, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills are a must
--- Experience using legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis required
--- Effectively manage the demands of a heavy caseload without the need for supervision
--- Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience representing clients for a minimum of two years
--- Landlord/tenant litigation experience
