We have been certified as a "Great Place to Work" multiple years in a row. -Sodexo is seeking a -Full Time Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager at PIH Health Hospital in Downey, CA. - In this role, the selected candidate will oversee the Clinical Nutrition Department and manage a team of 6 in all areas of patient care. This is also a great opportunity to gain managerial experience with the clinical team. -PIH Health has a variety of units including an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). • Be a Registered Dietitian with at least 1 year experience in acute care;
• be responsible for the supervision of Clinical Nutrition Services Department and clinical team of 2 Dietitians ;
• represent department at meetings and patient conferences;
• ensure consistency in day-to-day management and nutritional functions and ensures unit level, corporate, employee relations, safety, training, and unit operating systems compliance;
• be patient focused to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance and - be actively involved in Diversity Awareness;
• be highly involved in driving HCAHPS scores and patient satisfaction to meet or exceed set target and have working knowledge of CA state & federal employment law;
• work closely with the management team to meet the needs of Sodexo as well as the client and be directly involved in continuous quality improvement.Is this opportunity right for you? - We are looking for candidates who have: -

Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
